BUENO Café
Beautiful new space with potential – but the coffee has not yet reached the level of the surrounding specialty venues in Málaga.
BUENO Café is a beautiful new space in the centre of Málaga – modern, airy, with the option to work at your laptop. I liked the design and the overall atmosphere of the place. You can see that energy and investment have gone into the space.
Unfortunately the coffee lags behind the space. The latte was too hot and the coffee was burnt – which is a preparation fault, not a bean problem. The baristas need further training, as Málaga is genuinely competitive in this area – a street away you can get far better coffee.
Despite that, the place has enormous potential. The space, the location, the look – all of it works. If it improves coffee preparation, BUENO could be one of the top spots in the city.
I want to return – not to confirm disappointment, but to see progress. I believe they will improve.
