Fika Farina coffee and bakery
Fika Farina is a top-tier bakery with perfect croissants and great coffee in the heart of Palma.
Fika Farina caught my attention at first glance. The bakery is located right on Carrer del Sindicat and its window display of fresh pastries sends a clear signal: this place takes its craft seriously. I walked in craving a croissant and left convinced I had just eaten one of the best in all of Spain.
The croissant was exactly as it should be – a buttery sensation across the entire palate, layers of dough airy and light, the crust gently crisp without being hard. You could tell someone had put time, care, and quality ingredients into making it. This kind of pastry is available in many places today, but rarely done this consistently well.
The coffee also held its own – served with the same care as the pastries, and the overall breakfast experience was genuinely pleasant. The atmosphere of the café was calm and inviting, the interior understated but tasteful. Locals seemed to come here regularly for breakfast, which says it all.
Fika Farina is the type of establishment every city deserves. No unnecessary posturing, just honest work and results that speak for themselves. I will return here every time I am in Palma.
