Kaffevaerk in Frederiksberg is one of the best cafés we visited in Copenhagen – perfect latte, great foam, and a pleasant quiet atmosphere.

I visited Kaffevaerk several times because we were staying just around the corner during our time in Copenhagen. When there is an excellent café so close by, it is hard to resist and look elsewhere – and here we returned with pleasure every single time.

Copenhagen takes specialty coffee seriously, but not every café lives up to expectations. Kaffevaerk stands out among them. We tried several cafés in different parts of the city, and Kaffevaerk clearly ranks among the top two. The latte is genuinely excellent here – whether you order it with regular milk or oat milk, the result is consistently delightful: creamy foam, the right temperature, and a rich espresso flavor that blends beautifully with the milk.

I also appreciated the space itself. It is compact but well thought out – quiet, clean, with a pleasant atmosphere where you can comfortably sit, relax, or get some work done. The staff are friendly and clearly know what they are doing. Consistency here is a given, not an exception.

I would recommend Kaffevaerk to anyone who finds themselves in Frederiksberg or the surrounding area. It is exactly the kind of place worth leaving home for – and if you happen to have it just around the corner, you are simply lucky.
