We came to Csücsök on the basis of excellent Google Maps reviews, and it was one of those moments when reality exceeded expectations. From the first step inside you sense that this place lives and breathes coffee — not as a trendy phenomenon but as a deep passion of the people who work here. The space is small, intimate and charged with an energy you find only in places where the people behind the counter genuinely love what they do.

The coffee was truly exceptional. The taste was strong, distinctly nutty, and left an impression I kept with me long after leaving. This is not a generic blend coffee without personality — every sip had character and depth that you rarely encounter in ordinary cafés. The staff captivated us — they were willing, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable about everything coffee-related. They were happy to talk, recommend, and explain.

What delighted us particularly was an interesting detail: the coffee here comes from a Slovak source — specifically a roastery in Piešťany. As a Slovak, I felt genuine joy and a certain pride about that. It is a pleasant thing to know that Slovak quality finds its place even in Hungarian specialty cafés. This story added yet another interesting dimension to the whole visit.

I recommend Csücsök to anyone who finds themselves in Győr and is looking for real specialty coffee without compromise. Rasto simply could not think of anything here except that this is precisely the kind of café worth seeking out in new cities. If you are a coffee fan and are in the area, do not miss this place.
