Café Local
Café Local is a nice specialty coffee spot (and a bit of a bar) just off the port in Fuengirola, pouring Neria Coffee Roasters. Good, solid specialty — a clear step up from the usual Spanish café con leche — plus tapas, food, beer and vegan options. Not the most mind-blowing cup, but a good place.
Café Local is a specialty café that's also a bit of a bar — just off the port in Fuengirola, on a street with several specialty spots. A pleasant, lively space with a vintage touch.
The coffee is roasted by Neria Coffee Roasters and it's good, solid specialty — clearly a step up from the usual Spanish café con leche. My flat white was nicely made.
Honestly, though, it's not the tastiest specialty I've had — it's not a variety that knocks you off your feet. It's a solid, dependable cup that just doesn't wow. Among the local specialty cafés it's not at the very top for me so far, but it's definitely good.
A plus is that beyond coffee they also do tapas, food, beer and vegan options — so you can sit down and stay, not just grab a coffee. A nice stop by the port.
